Strategy Director
(Partnerships & Client Delivery)

Turn world-class enterprise partnerships into a scalable operating system

Boam AI provides the managed data and intelligence layer behind some of the world’s leading enterprises. We continuously transform messy, unstructured information from public, private, and proprietary sources into reliable, actionable, and always up-to-date intelligence on millions of SMBs and enterprises. That intelligence powers CRMs, data warehouses, AI applications, and mission-critical decisions across the enterprise.

Boam AI is already at an inflection point: strong product-market fit, marquee customers including Uber Eats and Toast, rapid growth, and a profitable foundation. Now we’re ready to scale our enterprise partnerships with the same discipline that built our team and product. This is a senior, high-ownership, leadership role with top-tier compensation and meaningful equity.

As Strategy Director (Partnerships & Client Delivery), you’ll work directly with the CEO and become the senior owner of our most important enterprise initiatives once a partnership reaches the pilot stage. You’ll solve complex strategic, technical, and operational problems spanning customers, Product, Engineering, and ML, then turn what works into systems that can scale.

You’ll sit at the intersection of our largest enterprise partners and our Product, Engineering, and ML teams, helping shape successful delivery as well as the future direction of the product itself.

This role is designed for someone coming from top-tier strategy consulting who wants to move from advising companies to building, operating, and eventually leading a function.

Every enterprise partnership brings a different mix of strategic, technical, and organizational complexity. How do we turn what we learn from customers into better products and operating models? How do we build a delivery system that works exceptionally well today and scales globally tomorrow? Your job is to structure these problems, drive decisions, and turn the answers into repeatable systems.

You’ll build on the systems, playbooks, and processes already supporting our enterprise partnerships: codifying what works, improving what doesn’t, and building what’s missing.

Initially, you’ll personally own our most important enterprise initiatives and refine the model behind them. Over time, you’ll build and lead the team that scales it globally.

What You'll Do

  • Solve high-stakes enterprise problems from pilot through expansion
  • Own client delivery from pilot → implementation → delivery → expansion
  • Align Product, Engineering, and ML teams around enterprise outcomes
  • Turn customer needs into clear product and technical priorities
  • Build operating models and playbooks that future teams will run
  • Turn successful implementations into scalable, repeatable systems
  • Use customer insight to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Drive complex cross-functional initiatives through ambiguity
  • Produce executive-quality analyses, recommendations, and materials
  • Use AI to accelerate analysis, communication, and execution

You Might Be a Fit If...

  • Typically 4–7 years at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or a comparable strategy firm
  • Ideally operating at Project Leader, Engagement Manager, or Manager level
  • Exceptional relationship builder who earns trust with senior executives
  • Outstanding written and spoken English with strong executive presence
  • Thrive on ambiguous, high-stakes problems with no existing playbook
  • Highly analytical with strong judgment and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable moving between executive conversations and technical detail
  • Experienced working with Product, Engineering, Data, or technical teams
  • Enjoy building operating models instead of solving problems one-off
  • Extremely responsive, dependable, and biased toward action
  • Comfortable influencing teams and executives without formal authority
  • AI-native and constantly looking for better ways to work
  • Want significantly more ownership than a traditional advisory role provides

Strong Pluses

  • Technical, engineering, quantitative, or data-oriented background
  • Technology, data, AI, or digital transformation consulting experience
  • Experience designing operating models or major transformation programs
  • Enterprise SaaS, CRM, data platform, or implementation experience
